Tokyo shares down at break

TOKYO, Oct 27, (APP/AFP) – Tokyo shares fell Thursday morning as investors locked in profits after the market advanced to its highest level in six months the previous day. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.29 percent, or 50.61 points, to 17,341.23 by the break while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.01 percent, or 0.07 points, to 1,382.63.
