TOKYO, July 4, (APP/AFP) – Tokyo stocks ended lower
Tuesday as late profit-taking erased early gains with investors keeping a close eye on an expected statement from North Korea after its latest missile launch.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 slipped 0.12 percent, or 23.45 points, to
20,032.35, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.29
percent, or 4.71 points, to end the day at 1,609.70.
