UN calls for $3bn aid for Yemen
TEHRAN (MILLAT ONLINE)::The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a statement that 11.3 million people of Yemen need immediate help to stay alive.
One generation of Yemeni kids are growing up in pain and deprivation. Two million children are deprived of education and 1.85 million children under five are suffering malnutrition, the statement said, Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
The UN agency also said 400,000 of Yemeni children are in danger of death if they receive no help.
Thousands of Yemenis have been killed in the Arabian-American coalition’s attack and more than 2,000 have died due to cholera.
