LANDI KOTAL, (APP): At least 22 persons of wedding
procession were killed when their vehicle was swept away by gushing
water in Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency said political
administration on Saturday.
According to detail, a bus carrying wedding guests crossing a nallah (rainy steam) in Sra Shaga area and washed away by water in Bazar
Zakhakhel area of Landi Kotal.
At least 22 people were killed including eight women, six children
and eight male. Two children were missing while three woman and two
children were injured.
Khasadar force and other rescue team rushed to the accident site and started rescue operation to retrieve the bodies. The injured were shifted to Peshawar hospitals.
