Arrest of Farooq Dar termed war against business class

ISLAMABAD,(MILLAT+APP): Traders, transporters, hoteliers,
fruit growers and construction contractors in occupied Kashmir,
have strongly condemned the arrest of Kashmir Economic Alliance
(KEA) Co-Chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the Chief Spokesman of Kashmir Economic Alliance, Mohammad Sadiq Ronga in a statement said in Srinagar that a meeting of KEA expressing concern over the arrest of Farooq Dar, equated it with direct war against the business class.
Indian police arrested Dar on Sunday after he addressed a
press conference at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, KMS repoted.
“Farooq Dar was driving back home after the press conference when police stopped his vehicle and arrested him,” Sadiq Ronga said. KEA
has been vocal against the ongoing killing spree unleashed by
Indian forces in held Kashmir, he said.
“They are arresting business leaders as business community
has condemned civilian killings and observed continued shutdown to
protest the killing spree,” he remarked.
