Capacity solidification of public servants essential for good governance: Governor
PESHAWAR, (MILLAT ONLINE):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said here Friday that civil service
represents the core structure of the state and provides stability and
continuity for governance and government operations, therefore solidification
of the capacity of public servants becomes essential for good governance.
Moreover, he said that there is a
dire need of continuity reinforcing of the knowledge and skill of public
servants adding in this regard trainings played pivotal role in capacity
building of civil servants.
He was addressing the graduation
ceremony of 24th Mid-career Management Course (MCMC) here at Governor’s House, here.
Director General of National
Institute of Management Nighat Mehroz, Faculty members and participants of the
course were present on the occasion.
The Governor awarded certificates
to the participants of MCMC on successful completion of the course.
Participants were also awarded for winning badminton and squash tournament.
Earlier, D.G NIMS Nighat Mehroz
gave a detailed presentation on activities of the training to Governor.
At the end, DG NIMS also presented
souvenir to Governor Khyber Pakhtukhwa.
