City experiences chilly weather
LAHORE, (MILLAT ONLINE):The city on Tuesday experienced
chilly weather with sky overcast the whole day, however
drizzle was reported from few places in the city.
Due to the first winter rainfall on Monday early morning,
maximum temperature could not cross 14 degree celsius as rain
which started early morning and continued during the day with
occasional gaps. However, temperature was recorded 17 degree
celsius on Tuesday.
According to a spokesman of Pakistan Meteorological
Department (PMD), the Lahorities would likely to experience
some sunshine on Wednesday and temperature is expected to
reach 22 degree celsius.
“More rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills
(with few hailstorm) is expected at isolated places in upper
KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions), upper FATA, upper
Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions), Islamabad,
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Whereas cold weather in Sindh
and Balochistan during next 24 hours. Foggy conditions are
likely over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during
morning hours”, daily weather report said.
