FAISALABAD, Sept 30 (APP): The local administration in collaboration
with health department and Punjab emergency services Rescue 1122 has devised a comprehensive emergency cover plan for Ashura-e-Muharram to
be observed here on Sunday.
According to a spokesman of local administration, health camps
have been set up at 9 points in the city including Chowk Clock Tower,
Allama Iqbal Colony, Qasim Park, Fateh Abad, Hajwairi Town, Sidhupura whereas ambulances of Rescue 1122 will be available at 35 points.
He said that doctors, nurses and other staff would remain present
at health camps where ample stock of medicines, blood bags and other
gadgets had been provided to deal with any emergent situation.
Rescue 1122 has also deputed 680 Jawans with ambulances for
quick shifting of patients to the nearest health camp, he added.
