Family of teenage boy awaits justice for last 8 months in IOK

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):The family of a teenage boy in Indian occupied Kashmir, who was killed by the Indian troops is yet get justice despite the passage of eight months.
According to Kashmir media service, Sajjad Hassan, a class 9 student, was killed after the troops of Indian Border Security Force opened fire on peaceful protesters in Batamaloo area of Srinagar on April 15, this year.
The killing of Sajjad Hassan has affected his father, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, so badly that he is not able to concentrate on his work. All the time he thinks of his son’s death and whether his killers will ever be brought to justice.
Ghulam Hassan Sheikh in a media interview in Baramulla said, “I am waiting for the police investigation to complete, so that the murderers of my son are punished. They are roaming free and it has made me restless.”
He said every passing day gives him a sense that there is nothing else than hopelessness and injustice. “The older the case gets, the lesser the chances of its resolution remain. Police assured me of justice and a fair investigation, but I have seen no signs of it so far,” he added.
Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, who has three other children, all of them students, has confined himself to his house.
