FAISALABAD, Dec 16 (APP)::The annual Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flower Exhibition organized by Institute of Horticulture Sciences at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) concluded here on Saturday. A number of flower stalls were set up where 100 varieties of Chrysanthemum were put on display in the exhibition. The concluding ceremony was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Iqbal Zafar while National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Director Dr Shahid Mansoor, Faculty of Agriculture Dean Dr Muhammad Amjad, Institute of Horticulture Sciences Director Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Principal Officer Public Relations and Publication Dr Jalal Arif, Dr Iftikhar Ahmad and other notables also attended the flower exhibition. The flower show attracted flower lovers who thronged the university to have the pleasures of autumn flower. Speaking on the occasion, UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar said, “We have to spread the fragrance of brotherhood, and work collectively for the uplift of our homeland”. He said that flowers provide the message of love and peace.
