Fuel price in Pakistan lowest as compared to other countries: Khaqan

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources,
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the government was providing fuel to the
public at lowest price among all the fuel importing countries.
Talking to a news channel, the minister said Pakistan reduced
Rs 5 per liter this month while India had reduced just Rs 0.04 per
liter.
He said it was the wrong perception that the advantage of price
decrease internationally was not being provided to the common man.
He said, “Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was doing
responsible politics rather point scoring. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf
(PTI) was doing politics of agitation.”
Replying to a question regarding gas prices, he said it was Oil and
Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) which have authority to fix prices of gas for six months.
