ISLAMABAD, (APP): Federal Government is taking special
interest and steps for the development and improvement of health
sector in Federally-Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
An official source told APP here Saturday that in this regard
federal government has launched various schemes and projects for the
development of this area.
He said that the number of Basic Health Units would be
increase in the new schemes and the number of doctors would also be
enhanced for the better health facilities to the public.
To a question he said that the provinciafl government has
already introduced the monitoring system for the health and
education sector in FATA.
Various positive changes can be seen after the monitoring
system in FATA and government has ensured the availability of
vaccine
and medicine at all the dispensaries at village levels.
He said that government was also working for the security of
doctors and paramedical staff specially in FATA regions.
