ISLAMABAD, (APP): Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs
on Friday told the National Assembly that the government has decided to get
new aeroplanes on lease for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
Replying to a question he said that the fitness of all aeroplanes was
checked before flying to avoid any untoward incident.
He said that PIA has recruited extra servants adding that after buying
new planes the number of these servants will be balanced.
He said “We have a number of capable engineers for overhauling the
planes and we have to purchase some spare parts of these planes from
abroad.”
