LAHORE, Aug 12 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad
Shehbaz Sharif Saturday said former prime minister Muhammad
Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for having an ‘Iqama’ instead
of Panama Papers case.
He said the presence of “ocean of youth” in the meeting
had exposed the lies told the lies by Niazi Sahib. There
had been no allegation of corruption of even a single penny
levelled against the PML-N government during last four years,
he added.
Addressing a massive gathering of PML-N workers and supporters
outside Data Darbar in connection with the reception of Muhammad
Nawaz Sharif he said no one questioned those who had looted billions
of rupees. The looters, he said, had gone to London and Canada.
He said not a single penny corruption was proved against
them during the last four years.
The chief minister said load-shedding had reduced considerably
due to the steps taken by the government headed by Nawaz Sharif.
Today metro buses were plying successfully in Lahore, Rawalpindi-Islamabad and Multan while work was continuing on Orange
Line Metro Train in Lahore, he added.
Shehbaz said opponents of the people’s progress, including
Imran Niazi, Peoples Party and Q-League opposed openly the
Orange Line Metro Train project.
Those lecturing on channels, he alleged, had themselves
committed dacoities of billions of rupees and stashed that
money of the nation into Swiss banks.
He said opposition to Nawaz Sharif was opposition to
the development of the country in the real sense.
“People will have to decide whether they are with those
who constructed Pakistan or with the opponents of development,”
he said.
He alleged that Niazi Sahib was telling lies and setting
world record of taking U-turns and the youth did not believe
in him as evident from that fact that they were most active
in today’s rally.
He said Pakistan needed unity at this time and they
all had to make its a great country with hard work. “Let us
jointly make Pakistan a supreme country under the leadership of
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif,” he resolved.
The Chief Minister said journey of development would
continue and they would continue making public welfare
projects.
