MULTAN, Feb 8 (APP): Home delivery service of passports
will soon be started in the city after the success of pilot
project launched in this regard in Karachi and Rawalpindi.
Talking to APP here on Monday, Assistant Director Passport
Riaz Hussain Murral said that home delivery services had been
launched in big cities including Rawalpindi, Karachi as a pilot
project. He said that pros and cons were being reviewed to
launch this service in Multan.
In case the facility was launched in Multan, the applicants
would have to pay additional charges for availing the facility
at home, he added.
Earlier, home delivery facility was scheduled in January
2016 for Multan but it could not be started from Head Office,
sources in Passport Office said.
