ISLAMABAD:(APP): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called for bringing improvements in syllabus to ensure quality education in the schools.
He was addressing a ceremony in connection with launch of Montessori classes in the federal government schools in Islamabad today.
He also directed that security arrangements should further be strengthened at the educational institutions. The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to ensure quality of construction in the renovated schools.
Mr. Sharif said billions of rupees are being spent on the renovation and upgradation of facilities at the federal schools. So far, 22 schools have been renovated under the education reforms program.
The PM said security situation has improved significantly as a result of successful operation against terrorists.
