Rain drops temperature to 8.3°C

LAHORE, (MILLAT ONLINE):Early morning rainfall caused temperature drop to 8.3 degree centigrade in the city, making all feel the bite in the air
on Monday morning.
The rain started in very early hours of the morning and continued with occasional gaps
till 2:00pm.According to a spokesman of Pakistan Meteorological department, almost entire province was in the
grip of a cold wave on Monday, with a number of cities and towns struck
by temperatures ranging between 7 and 15 degree centigrade.
“The city may receive rainfall for two more days with which
the temperature is expected to drop even more”,he added.
Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is
expected at scattered places in upper Punjab,Islamabad,upper
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while at
isolated places in upper FATA and South Punjab during next 24
hours.
