ISLAMABAD, APP):Newly elected Speaker of Balochistan
Assembly, Rahila Durrani here on Tuesday called on Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The Minister felicitated her on being unanimously elected as the
first ever woman speaker of the Balochistan Assembly adding it was indeed a great honour and a tribute to her services for the country and the province, a statement said issued by Ministry of Finance.
The Speaker said she had a vision to serve Balochistan, adding that
people of province also contributed for betterment of the country.
Rahila Durrani said that people of Balochistan had great
respect and regard for Prime Minister, Muhammed Nawaz Sharif as they sincerely believed that under the PML-N leadership, visible economic progress had been achieved in the province.
She said it would be her priority to further strengthen the
efforts aimed at welfare of the people.
Finance Minister appreciated Rahila Durrani’s resolve for well
being of the people of Balochistan and said the federal government
would keep up its efforts for development of the province.
Senior officials of the Ministry of Finance were present
in the meeting.
