RAWALPINDI, Sep 22 (APP);The city chapter of Sunni Tehrik on Friday
held protest demonstration against the killing of Rohinga Muslims, and called upon UN to intervene to stop the brutalities.
Addressing the demonstration, President city chapter Mufti Laiqat Ali
Rizvi said Buddhists were brutally killing innocent Muslims in Burma. He said children and women were being slaughtered like animals and thousands of women had become widows. He said children and old people were being burnt alive.
He criticized the silence of Muslim countries on the slaughter of
Muslims in Myanmar.
However, he appreciated the Turkish government for helping the innocent
Muslims of Burma.
The protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans
against the silence of Muslim rulers.
