KARACHI, August 3 (APP): A partial eclipse of moon will be
witnessed in Pakistan on August 7 and August 8, said an announcement
issued here Thursday by Climate Data Processing Center – Karachi,
Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Penumbral eclipse was said to begin at 20:50 Pakistan Standard
Time with partial eclipse to begin from 22:00 hours to 23:00 hours and
greatest eclipse at 23:20 hours.
Partial eclipse was said to end at 00:18 PST (August eight) and
penumbral eclipse at 1:51 hours.
The partial was said to be also visible in Western Pacific Ocean,
Australasia, Asia, Antarctica, Africa and most of Europe.
