ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE):As part of a goodwill port call and to further strengthen the bilateral
relations with Sri Lanka, a Pakistani Naval ship PNS SAIF is scheduled to
arrive at Colombo port on 4-day visit from November 5 to 8.
According to message feom Colombo, during its four-day stay in Sri Lanka, the ship is scheduled to undertake
a number of activities including professional interactions, sports and training
sessions as well as a reception on November 6.
Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) SAIF is a SWORD class F22P
Frigates of Chinese origin. It is equipped with state-of-the-art weapons,
sensors and machinery, making it capable of undertaking a variety of maritime
operations.
Relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka are
multifaceted. There is a great deal of commonality in their culture and
tradition. Contemporary relations are characterized by mutual trust, credibility,
understanding and good will at all levels.
