Pakistani products in great demand in Afghanistan, India & China

      ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (APP): Economist Professor Iqbal Bakht has
said that Pakistan has great potential and we can use our resources
to boost our exports.
      Talking to Radio Pakistan, he added present government has
taken many steps for the economic recovery of the country. We can
compete with many countries of the world in the production of
various commodities. Our youth should be properly trained to make
them useful citizens, he added.
      Journalist Afzal Bajwa said that Pakistan has got GSP Plus
status from European Union, which can help us to send our duty free
exports to European countries.
      He added it offers an opportunity to increase our exports. If
we are able to overcome our energy crisis, then we can achieve our
export targets. We have to improve our law and order situation in
order to create conducive environment for local and foreign
investors.
      Senior journalist Maqbool Elahi Malik said that Pakistan can
increase its export through regional trade.
      He said that several Pakistani products are in great demand in
Afghanistan, India and China.
      He stressed the need to remove trade barriers with these
countries.
      He said that exporters should be given more facilities. He
added technical training of youth would provide highly skilled work
force to our industry.
