NBP ranked top bank of Pakistan

      ISLAMABAD, July 2 (APP): National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has been ranked by 'The Banker' as the top bank of Pakistan in its 'Top 1000 World Banks' ranking for 2012.
      This way National Bank of Pakistan has once again outperformed all
the local banks operating in Pakistan, a statement of the bank issued
here Monday said.
      'Top 1000 World Banks' has been setting the industry benchmark since 1970 by providing comprehensive intelligence about the health and wealth
of the banking sector.
      The Banker is the premier resource for the world's investment, retail and commercial banking sectors.
      It is the key source of data and analysis for the industry, providing
global financial intelligence since 1926. National Bank of Pakistan has
also been awarded 'Deals of the Year' (DOTY) Award by The Banker magazine
of UK for its WIND ENERGY PROJECT.
      Qamar Hussain, President of the National Bank of Pakistan received
the DOTY Award by Syed Shahjahan Salahuddin, Country Manager of 'The
Banker' at an impressive ceremony.
