Shipping activity at Port Qasim

     Karachi July 08 (APP): Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on
Saturday 7th July, carrying containers at QICT.
     Berth occupancy was maintained at 43% at the Port Qasim on Friday
where a total of five ships namely M.V Salta, Lantau Arrow, M.V CMA
CGM Amber, M.T Cyrus-I, M.T Chem Road Sea, M.T Karachi are currently
occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers, palm oil furnace
oil bitumen was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.
     Cargo Handling Operations were carried out smoothly at the Port
Qasim where a cargo volume 57,293 tonnes comprising 50,836 tonnes
import 6,457 tonnes export. 2074 (TUEs) was handled at the Port Qasim
during last 24 hours.
     M.T Chem Road Sea M.V Lantu Arrow sailed on Saturday afternoon
M.T Cyrus CMA CGM  Amber, M.T Karachi sailed on Sunday morning.
     M.V Cape Arrive at FAP M.V MSC Jade at QICT, M.T Mako at FOTCO
M.T Bunga Laurel at EVTL arrive on 08th July 2012.
