Trade with India: Negative list to be phased out on Dec 31 ISLAMABAD, Sept 5 (APP) : The negative list regarding trade with India would be phased out by December this year after the approval of federal cabinet, Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim told National Assembly Wednesday. In a written reply to a question, he said inexpensive vehicles under 1000cc are importable from India. The negative list contains 1209 items. The negative list contains a total of 385 items of the auto sector. Out of which only 19 are different types of vehicles and remaining and 366 items are primarily auto components for vehicles. The vehicles in negative category don't fall in the inexpensive category but reflects a mixture of various types and price range vehicles, he said. A total of 49 items of Pharma sector are also in the negative list which includes finished products added in the list to protect local manufacturers.
