Pakistan Expo in Mumbai extended till Sept. 8 on popular demand
KARACHI, Sept. 07 (APP) : The Made-in-Pakistan Expo 2012 has been extended up to Saturday (Sept. 8) on the popular demand. The exhibition is a flagship event of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) in the Maharashtra state in India, said FPCCI release here. It is the largest solo exhibition of this nature ever to be held by Pakistan in Mumbai. It has continued to draw crowds of people on its consecutive eighth day. The event is showcasing the finest that Pakistan has to offer to the Indian market. Some fresh stocks arrived late during the week, which are now available for display and sale for three more days. A large variety of textiles and readymade garments (both ladies and gents wear) are on display, which customers may select from. Besides textile products, sellers representing spices, onyx handicrafts and melamine crockery are also participating in the exhibition. So far, the event has been a resounding success, and has drawn in crowds from all over the city, including the suburbs, in spite of the inclement weather over the past one week in Mumbai. Visitors have applauded the rich quality of Pakistani textiles, the vibrant color palette and the excellent value for money offered by the exhibitors. At the same time, exhibitors have also expressed satisfaction over the response that they have received from Mumbai's public, which has welcomed the Pakistani textiles with great enthusiasm. Stall owners have lauded FPCCI's initiative to hold a solo exhibition in Mumbai.
