Shipping activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI, Sept 08 (APP): Six Ships arrived at discharge diesel oil
at FOTCO Containers at QICT chemical at EVTL and palm oil at LCT on
Friday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the Port on Saturday
where a total of seven ships namely M.V Sapphir-11, M.V Amspegasus
III, M.T STX Forte, M.V Asian Trader, M.V MSC Scotland, M.V MSC Sina,
M.T Alkuwaitiah, M.V Anayan Naree, M.T Bhaai Ravi are currently
occupying berths to load/offload cement, corn, containers, palm oil,
chemical,Diesel oil was handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port
where a cargo volume 112172 tonnes comprising 72852 tonnes import,
39320 tonnes export and 2863 (Tues) was handled at the Port during
last 24 hours.
M.V Asian Trader, M.V MSC Sina, M.V Sapphire-11, M.T
Alkuwaitiah sailed on Saturday Morning.
M.T AL Soor-II at FOTCO arrive on Saturday.
