Shipping activity at Port Qasim

     KARACHI, Oct 20 (APP): Four ships arrived at Port Qasim carrying
diesel oil at Fotco containers at Qict and palm oil at MW-I on Saturday.
     Berth occupancy was maintained at 57% at the Port Qasim on
Saturday where a total of seven ships namely M.T Harsanadi, M.T STX
Forte, M.V MSC Scotland, M.T Bow Lion, M.V Cape Flores, M.T Al Soor-
II, M.V Ana Dorothea, M.V Infinite, are currently occupying berths to
load/offload wheat, palm oil, fertilizer, containers, diesel oil, MEG
was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.
     Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port
Qasim where a cargo volume 84570 tonnes comprising 52217 tonnes import
32353 tonnes export and 2356 (Tues) was handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
     M.T Harsanadi sailed on Friday afternoon M.T STX Forte sailed on
Saturday morning.No arrive on Saturday.
