Hafeez reviews various aspects of energy, power situation

ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (APP): Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh chaired a meeting to review contemporary situation of energy and
power in the country.
The Secretary Petroleum briefed the meeting about
the required financial resources that is need to supply fuel
to thermal power plant.
In the same way, the Secretary Water and Power briefed the
meeting on the recoveries, lines losses, tariff structure
and subsidies.
The meeting also discussed about the next 5-month
plan regarding energy management of the country.
The meeting was attended by Advisor to Prime Minister on
Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resource, Minister for Water
and Power, Secretary Finance, Secretary Water and Power,
Secretary Petroleum and National Resources and Deputy Chairman Planning Commission.
