PM announces Rs 500,000 for top position holder Revtash Kumar
ISLAMABAD, Sept. 2 (APP): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf
has announced a sum of Rs 500,000 for Revtash Kumar who belongs
to a poor family of Rahim Yar Khan and had secured top position
in Matriculation Examination.
Spokesman to Prime Minister said Revtash Kumar wants to become
a doctor but cannot afford to continue his education because his
shoemaker father earns Rs 100-150 per day.
In response to an appeal made by his father, Prime Minister
Raja Parvez Ashraf has announced a grant of Rs 500,000 for Revtash
Kumar, besides bearing all his educational expenses.
