Sardar Yaqoob welcomes improving Pak-India relations

      ISLAMABAD, Oct 2 (APP): President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has welcomed the enhancement of relations between Islamabad and New Delhi.
      Talking to VOA, he said that participation of Kashmiri leadership is must in the dialogue on resolution of Kashmir issue.
      He said that after attending UN General Assembly session in Washigton, he got an opportunity to highlight Kashmir issue in his meetings with
world leaders and he took full advantage of the international forum. 
      Sardar Yaqoob said, "I talked to people on Kashmir issue and the people know about it."
       He said that Kashmir is a political issue and it should be resolved on diplomatic basis.
      He urged the Kashmiri-Americans to take active part in the US politics and get their voice to the Congress by talking about it on political platform.  
      He said without casting vote and taking part in politics in the
coming elections, Kashmiris will not be able to raise their voice in a better way.
      He welcomed the enhancement of relations and cooperation in
different fields between Islamabad and New Delhi.
      He said, "Kashmiri leadership should also be given a role. Negotiations should continue as these will have better impact on Kashmir
and its people."
      He also welcomed the normalization of visa policies between Pakistan and India and said that "It has facilitated the people to contact one another."
