High level delegation from China to visit Pakistan on Wednesday
ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (APP): A high level delegation led by Li Changchun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of Communist Party of China Central Committee, (CPCCC), will visit Pakistan from October 17-18. According to Foreign Office spokesman, during his stay in Islamabad Changchun will call on President Zardari and will discuss bilateral issues including regional situation. Li Changchun will inaugurate China Radio International (CRI) FM-98 in Urdu language aiming to increase people-to-people contact and forge cultural bonds at a popular level. This will add a new dimension to the existing cultural relations between Pakistan and China. He will plant a tree at Shakarparian and also visit the Pakistan Monument. This high level visit from China would help further strengthen the "all-weather and strategic" friendship between the two countries, said Foreign Office spokesman in a statement issued here Tuesday.
