Rs 1395.968 million allocated for Housing and Works

ISLAMABAD, June 3 (APP): The Government has allocated Rs 1395.968 million under Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) for Housing and Works department in fiscal year 2011-12.According to budgetary document, an amount of Rs 1370.594 million has been allocated for 39 on-going projects and Rs 25.374 million for 10 new schemes in the PSDP 2011-12.In on-going schemes, an amount of Rs 20 million has been allocated for the construction of Specialized Commando Training Center at Sakrand Road Benazirabad, Rs 20 million for the construction of National Accountability Bureau Punjab Complex Lahore, Rs 39.167 million for Construction of Residential Accommodation for F.G.Es at Islamabad (P.M Estate).
 
An amount of Rs 800 million has been allocated for construction of New Secretariat Block Constitution Avenue Islamabad, Rs 5.956 million has been allocated for construction of office cum Residential Accommodation for I.B at Chitral. While Rs 7.402 million has been earmaked for the up gradation and renovation of Qasre-e-Naz Karachi, Rs 8.00 million has been allocated for the construction of Category-II Houses for I.B Department at 111, College Road Lahore.
 

An amount of Rs 11.230 million has been allocated for Acquisition of land and construction of 48 family suites at Islamabad, Rs 100 milliom has been allocated for construction/widening/improvement of M/Road to Jetha Bhatta Feroze Road to Channi Goth via 87/A Akhtar Nagar Doshakha Road Rahim Yar Khan, Rs 80.975 million has been allocated for constructing over Head Bridge at Railway Crossing Sargodha, Rs 100 million has been allocated for Infrastructure Development Government Servant Housing (Prime Minister’s special Initiatives), Rs 32 million has been allocated for Rehabilitation of Intelligance Bureau Building at Lahore.
 The new schemes comprise extension of Mosque in Gulshan-e-Jinnah Complex F-5/1 Islamabad at the cost of Rs 4.023 million, enhancement of Security arrangement of Survey of Pakistan, Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs 3.00 million, Renovation of Government Owned Flats at I-9/4, Islamabad.
 Rs 3.00 million has been allocated for construction of Office and Residential Accommodation for I.B at ghallani Mohmand Agency and also Rs 3.00 million have been allocated for Fire prevention and Fire fighting Arrangements in Prime Minister’s House Islamabad.
