Widespread rain forecast for KP
PESHAWAR, Sept 04 (APP): The Met office here on Tuesday forecast heavy
rain falls in isolated places of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab during next 24 hours.
According to Met office here, seasonal low lies over Northeast
Balochistan and adjoining area as monsoon currents are penetrating into upper parts of the country and a westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country.
In next 24 hours, scattered rain/thundershower with isolated heavy
falls is expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Balochistan, Mirpurkhas division and Kashmir.
The weather of Abbottabad, Kohat, Peshawar, DI Khan, Bannu and Parachinar
will remain partly cloudly with chances of rain/thundershower.
Scattered Rain/thundershower is expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Sindh and Kashmir during next 24 hours. Isolated rain/thundershower occurred in Upper Punjab, KP, Kashmir and southeastern Sindh in last 24 hours. Maximum rain was received by D.I Khan 49mm, Malamjabba 37, Peshawar (Civil) 26, Kakul 20, Mithi 18, Chirat 17, Dir 16, M.B Din and Rawalpindi (Chaklala) 13, Pehawar (PAF) 08, Murree and Gujranwala 07, Islamabad 06, Lower Dir, Mianwali and Bannu 04, Rawalakot, Chakwal and Sialkot (AP) 02, Mangla, Jehlum, D.G Khan and Kotli 01 mm in last 24 hours.
Maximum Temperatures recorded at Turbat 44 degree centigrade and pollen count remained 16 per cubic meter.
