Fresh rain spell likely to lash country today, tomorrow

ISLAMABAD, Sep 8 (APP): The Metreological Department has
predicted that most parts of the country including Karachi are
expected to receive more showers today and tomorrow.
It is also said these rains may trigger flash floods in
southern Punjab, upper Sindh and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
MET added that the low air pressure will enter Pakistan
during next 12 hours which is expected to cause heavy downpours in
southern Punjab, upper Sindh, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and
northeastern Balochistan during the next 48 hours.
The Met Department warned massive rainfall may bring about
the flooding of the rivers and streams in Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan,
Bahawalpur and Sindh's Sukkur and Larkana, Balochistan's Zhob,
Sibbi and Naseerabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Kohat and Bannu.
