Tax waiver in 80 flood hit villages in south Punjab
 
  LAHORE,Oct 16 (APP):Director General Provincial Disaster Management  Authority,Mujahid Sherdil has said that 80 flood affected villages of Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan have been declared calamity-hit, while complete waiver of all taxes has been given to affectees.
  Abiayana,income tax,development and local tax of affectees in these villages have been completely waived,and a formal notification has been issued in this regard. He said 65 villages of Rajanpur and 15 of Dera Ghazi Khan have been declared calamity-hit.
   According to a hand out,on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister, survey of these flood affected areas was conducted after water receded
and in the light of the findings aforementioned decision has been taken
to provide relief to flood hit people.
  He said that abiayana,income tax, development and local tax of the affectees of these villages have been completely waived,while concerned bank and heads of other departments have been directed to defer loans of  affectees. A directive was also given for taking steps to ensure more loans to them for the cultivation of next crop.
