HONG KONG, Sept 29, (APP/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks
ended marginally higher Friday as investors awaited the weekend release of Chinese manufacturing data.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.48 percent, or 132.7 points, to close at
27,554.3.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.28 percent, or 9.30 points, to 3,348.94 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, climbed 0.69 percent, or 13.71 points, to 1,988.49.
