KARACHI, Jul 18 (APP):Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited’s commodity index on Tuesday closed at 3,567 points;
with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 8.770 billion.
The number of lots traded was 9,384, said press release on Wednesday. (The data is compiled
and released after 24 hours.)
Major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to PKR 3.953 billion, followed by
gold Rs 1.944 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 1.632 billion, NSDQ100 Rs 324.310 million, DJ
Rs 292.259 million, silver Rs 268.159 million, platinum Rs 175.345 million, copper Rs 125.628 million, SP500 Rs 19.770 million, natural gas Rs 17.441 million and Brent crude oil Rs 17.324 million.
