RAWALPINDI, Sept 6 (APP) Defense Day was observed with a renewal of
pledge to safeguard country’ boarders at any cost.
The martyres were paid glowing tribute who laid down their lives for the
defense of the country.
No one should feel any kind of hesitation for sacrificing his life for
the country.
In his message, the Director General Rescue 1122 Dr Rizwan Naseer said,
it is our profession and moral obligation to save precious lives and properties of the Public which gives sense of safety amongst general public and ultimately contribute to strengthen the internal defense.
It is obligated on all of us to work with commitment and determination
to serve our country in any unavoidable situation, and also pay rich tribute to great heroes of the nation who fought with commitment, unity and bravery for the defense of the homeland. Pakistan is now making progress on every front with sure-footed determination and everyone must be united and work for the country by significant contribution towards its progress and prosperity.
Remember the nation can combat any challenges facing it with fierce
determination and unity. There is need to stay vigilant regarding the challenges confronting the region, he added.
