nice task and keep it up, one more thing i am gonna tell you that u r
graphic usage is very good but the color combination u used its not very
good i mean its not on the priniciples of human computer interaction and
it is not optimising visual clarity u have to use just two or three
colours , just for example use just one color for the icons of main
heading and similar like this , i hope u dont mind and keep it up, its
really a nice things and may allah help u.

Recently I came across your website. Not ony Iwas amazed but I was also
impressed by the quality of coverage. I have been in New York for over
25 years and the recent development of internet has brought me back
closer to motherland. There are 8 News Papers printed in New York and I

Fine service to Pakistanis especially those living abroad

I have been extremly impressed with daily millat and I congratulate you on a
fine service to Pakistanis especially those living abroad.
I would like to make a suggestion which may prove to enhace your service by
adding some photographs of events and keeping your documents short so that
they are transferred more quickly over the net. At times the net is severly
congested and it takes very long time which is frustating and the reader loses
interest.
Also if you could also include classified adds in your section this will I
think be useful feature.

Best efforts to generate an Urdu and english combination
Millat is the best aproach for the millat-e-pak and also for those who are intend to get information in urdu and english. I saw your web site yesterday , July 29,1998 all of sudden when I was searching in urdu channel. I want to draw your attention that to day on July 30,1998 its front page is looking as it was yesterday like Ahim Khabreyn whch was looking viery nice it was out of memory and the same some other items were blank. Quality of your scanned material
The quality of your scanned material is very low. Only the headline is readable and the rest of the print isn't. Another promblem i have with your newspaper is the fact that when I make an attempt to read the scanned newspaper the article states that the continuation of that particular article is on a certain page but your website does not inform us where i can read the continuation of that article other than that I think that you have made a great attempt to make this website i truly think that you have done your community and the people of pakistan a very good favour and i congratulate you on your success of the newspaper many of my friend have also been reading this newspaper and love it but have the same concerns as me. Assalamu Akaikum. Up till now I had to read several newsparers on
the net spending many hours because The Nation comes on the net 8 hours
before Dawn and The News. Now after pleasant discovery of Millat I can
be satisfied by reading your Millat. Uptil now I thought the Millat was
a Gujrati paper of Karachi but I was wrong.
You can get good assistance from The
Business Recorder. You should have good and OBJECTIVE articles on the
happenings in Pakistan without fear or favour to the two big parties
of Pakistan only then people in and out of Pakistan will be habituated
reading your site. I have yet to scan through your site thoroughly. Any
way the reason for this appreciation is your news about the Supreme
Court decision on the lifting of emergency. Only the News gave a one
line report. Please keep up . Allah (SWT) help you in your progress. My

Dear Editor:
It is always a great pleasure to see your ever improving website, you (father
and son) are doing great work, and command a lot of praise from the community.
At this point I would like to take an opportunity to bring in your kind
considerations the following issue, in order to futher strenghten your web
site:
A) Make your site totally unbiased towards any political movement (I just saw
on your site, you have allocated a space for Dr. Qadri), That is going to hurt
your image, because Dr. Qadri has been to states, and he failed to
generate/develop any kind of
religious or political image for himself or his organization over here. Even
in one of the mosque in Los Angeles, on Java Street, didnot allow him to
deliver any kind of address to the audience, that mosque is very well
respected in the community for its religious works. He tried to be stubborn,
and gave the message but audience didnot take him at all, and he had to stop
and leave (in pretty embarasing situation)
B) There are many Islamic organizations working in States, most of them are
involved in running Islamic schools or charitable funds, Most of these
organiztions are managed and administered by top of the line professionals,
who has proved to the community of their professional excellence as well as
their deep religious practice, these people are very honest and bright, and
they totally discourage people coming from India or pakistan and using Islam
for their political or religious benefits.
Some of these organizations are even managed by scholars graduated from
Harvard University, with majors in (religions or history of religions and so)
they are extremely qualified people, they bring with them the best of east and
west, their early education is from Madrassah's and later graduated from
institutes like Harvard and London School of Economics.
Scholars like Dr. Qadri, have no immediate scope in international scenario, as
Qazi Hussain Ahmed, who stands no where in international scnario among the
Pakistani community. These gentlemen, live in 20th century, and they approach
the world with the thinking of 10th century, The world has changed .
Now Education (mix of secular and religious) is the key to success for
individuals and nations. Good education of International caliber, (which
brings a good mix of religious and secular education) is totally missing from
all of Pakistani politicians.
And the sad thing is that media (comprised of educated people) makes them

Millat.Com is an excellent site. I am a regular visitor to this
site. I used to go to a lot of other Pakistani Newspaper Sites, but
ever since I have known about this site, it has been ENOUGH.
And I am not saying this because of these articles. Actually,
these pages of articles about Idara, were totally unexpected
( and certaily pleasant ). Before, there used to be little on this
site, about the great International Minhaj-ul-Qur'an Movement, It's
leader, and its religious, political, social and educational wings.

Suggessions
I read your news paper every day. Though your newspaper covers a lot of
news material, it
lacks in certain aspects:
1. It does not give full detail of the news though it covers a lot of
Headline News.
2. Sometimes the Heading of the news says one thing and the detail of the
same news
talks about some other news.
3. Often the detail of the news does not confine to that news but suddenly
other
unrelated news are included in the same news.
4. The English portion of Millat was last updated on August 6th. I don't
understand
why it is not updated after August 6th of 1998.
5. One important feature of Millat is the captions of other newspapers such
as
JANG, NAWAIWAQT, DAWN, etc etc. It will be great if rather than
including only pictures
of these newspapers Millat should provide actual readable pages from
these
newspapers.
6. Yesterday, Millat announced that "READ TOMORROW'S NEWS TODAY" and also
it claimed that "NO ONE CAN COMPETE MILLAT". Today I am trying to read
tomorrow's Millat but it still shows today's Millat (August 11, 1998).
I know that it is very easy to criticize anyone, but I feel that by taking
care of the above
mentioned points you can really improve the standard of Millat.

suggest that you should at least give dates alongside each coulumn of
the urdu writers so that we can read them in the right context. It

interesting as it provides a very wide variety of information about our
country (PAKISTAN) although what is happening in Pakistan is very sad.

I have read the address of our Prime Minister.He is taking right actions. This is not the time to talk only but to work in very serious way. I like to tell our great prime minister that we are with him. Pakistan is our country. When we are out of our country then we know its importance.
I take this proud to say that we will donate as much as we can if Govt of Pakistan specify any special account in foriegn countries OR any other procedure.
We will not practice hundi any more. I also like to tell pakistani brothers to decrease their expenses.
We are in foreign countries and earning more money but spending a very simple life than our brothers in Pakistan
Prime minisater should stop the import of all kind of cosmetics, clothes, Tv, etc which are also manufactured in Pakistan.

LIVE coverage of PM and Budget is excellent. In this way people like me who
are very far away from Pakistan can get instant news.
I have visited another site called "chowk",
I think it has articles and readers comments anti-pakistani and far from
real Pakistan.
I want to inquire that wether chowk people are common pakistanis or some
Indians and Anti-Pakistanis posing as PAKISTANIS ? Can you guide me in this matter ?

2. Register Millat.com with as many search engines possible. It cost few
dollars per search engine.
3. For latest World news feed you can visit "Yahoo.com" at the main page
click on "Current events" and there you go.................every major News
